At first i thought it was maybe a toucan......but it isn't......it is a horn billed something or other.....damn my memory.......I can't think of the name!

Yep, thats the one.
It was taken on the beach at Sentosa island in Singapore, the owner had it out and would let you feed it, that beak would put a lot of people off but it was really gentle at taking food off you, a lot safer feeding that than the african grey i have.
It would take peices of food smaller than a pea out of your hand or you could throw it towards the bird and it would catch it

Its a craker of a pic and shows a beauty of a bird. Got any of the 11 other kinds of hornbills?

Thats the only good one I got, I did get some more but they were at the Jurong bird park and they were all caged up and none came out very good so I deleted them

Pity the tropical birds are so colourful and nice to view. Nearest i get is the ones at Edinburgh Zoo.

There was lots of eagles at the bird park but they were all behind mesh making it difficult to get decent pictures
