Once told I had a look of Tracey Corkhill from Brookside, never saw it myself though.

I work with a bloke who looks just like Gene Pitney. He gets annoyed if you say so.

My best gaffe - my husband and I once met a chap in a Manchester hotel and got chatting. After a bit of conversation I told him he looked very much like the actor Robert Powell. He said, "Oh, do I?" It was half an hour later that I found it he was Robert Powell.

Was the buxom blonde doing 'the hustle' in the background, wearing satin shorts and a feather boa, not a clue to his identity?

[To anybody under forty, he's married to Babs from Pan's People.]

My Dad was spitting image of Jimmy Connors when he was younger and often was mistaken for him on holidays, he used to have people on and thought it was great.

My Dad looked like Martin Shaw from the Professionals when that programme was out - he even had the same perm. He still looks like him now that he's older, plus now Martin Shaw has had his hair cropped and grey they still look exactly the same.

Yes Boo, you do in that photograph.

I haven't seen those films.

At first glance I thought it was the pattern for a sweater my Granny knit for me in 1971`.

the idea of the film is that people are dragged from the late 60's early 70's to present day so that could explain it

Which century though?

I've been dragged up in quite a few.

Re: When Will I be famous?

A drunken Scot on a bus in Blackpool in some years ago once said, “Hey John” do you know you’re the spitting image of Roy Orberson” he then produced a little pink river that run back towards the steps whilst trying to conjure me in the singing Blue Bayou. The only remarkable thing about this claim to fame was Roy Orberson was and still is one of my all time favourites….

Re: When Will I be famous?

Did Roy Orbison sing 'Little Pink River?'

I thought it was Conway Twitty.
