I think it's disgraceful that Dobbo didn't show his face on either day.
And I agree, if he chose to refuse an invitation, but what I'm saying though is that they may not have been invited.

Re: Where was the Mayor?

I agree Gayle, I would have thought an invite would have gone out, I can't find any mention of the Mayor's civic diary anywhere to check.
If he wasn't invited then fair enough but it doesn't stop him showing his face though.

Aren't there deputies to step in at offical functions, if the main players are indisposed?

Dobson`s times nearly up so he probably could`nt be ar*ed! and as for Britcliffe......the place probably benefitted from him NOT being there!! but have to agree A very poor show indeed

Re: Where was the Mayor?

I was talking to someone today who went to this food festival and she said that Tony Dobson was there. She didn't see PB but she said that she saw Tony Dobson.

Strange one isn't it?

Re: Where was the Mayor?

well, if he was there he kept a low profile. if I am doing the man a disservice I will apologise, I have pm'd Kerry the food festival organiser to ask her. But it would seem odd if he wasn't introduced to the exhibitors.
