Re: Where would you go?

I would start at the place of my birth and seek the truth of my ancestors that done I would travel the all of the UK on horse back or a motor bike, something loud and expensive. like a Harley or a Gold Wing. I would then do the same across Europe and the continents….. With money, a good woman and a reliable bike, your can go anywhere……..but look around you and see whats there, you may surprise yourself…………………..

Re: Where would you go?

I like the idea of just setting off and touring but rather than by bike I'd prefer a Winnebago. Probably start off small, touring UK and Ireland and then work up to a tour of the USA.

I accept what your saying willow, it maybe a man thing, but a Horse or a bike means freedom to do what ever........without consideration, it’s not reflective of family, age or comfort.

Amen to that Willow, but it's just a sign that we are of an age that passed its prime sometime past. At least we can admit it and for that we are stronger.....

Ten years ago I would have.....................loss is just another lesson in life cashman. It’s never too late, but sometimes it’s still too early and seldom is the time just right. Live and learn, but never give in, never look back with shame, mistakes are nothing more than experiences and experience brings you life. Do what you have to do but don’t waist what you have, you won’t have it for long………..
