If you want to think like that I think my mum and dad paid about £1200 for a house on Cromwell Avenue, what would that get you now?
There are more expensive watches.....

I can't complain.

My flat in London tripled in value in eight years, and the one in Glasgow doubled in eighteen months.

The house I bought back here was 50% cheaper, when the guy I bought it off purchased it two years before.

My timing was just a bit out on that last move, but as I say I've no complaints, as the earlier sales mean I'm now mortgage free.
