Whiteburn & Whitepool.
Okay, so the title of the thread is slightly misleading. Cant remember where I heard it, but apparently the names of Blackburn & Blackpool have to change their names because its seen as racism. But it didnt say anything about Whiteburn or Whitepool, I just thought it was a good title lol. I also dont think this is true, but I think it would be ridiculous. Anyone else?
The change of the Blackboard and Ba Ba Blacksheep annoyed me enough, never mind changing of town names. |

Who says black is a racist term? Anyone who does is racist, because they obviously think that "black" is a term of abuse. Black is a colour, full stop. You might as well say that "white" is a racist term.
I did check this thread to make sure it wasn't posted on April 1! |

While we're at it lets change the names of Church incase it offends the atheists, Earby in case it offends the deaf and Salmsbury Bottoms in case it offends people with large ones.

So in theory at some point in the future all towns could be just a code along the lines of a postcode.
