who knew ,,Rolling Stones banned from Blackpool since 1964
Just came across this whilst surfing the news .......did anyone know that Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones had been..banned from perfoming in Blackpool since 1964 .....Sympathy for the Stones as Blackpool buries the hatchet over 1964 riot - Home News, UK - The Independent
wonder which pier they will play on now they allowed back ?

They were on about this earlier in the week on another forum I frequent. Bet the Stones can't wait to go back .. NOT

I'm sure they'd leap at a second chance to be allowed back. Their career never quite recovered from that 1964 ban, did it?

Your'e right Mr H. We saw them in the Olympic Stadium in Berlin 2 years ago and there were definatley 1 or 2 empty seats right at the top of the stands
