Quality Street tins at £6.89. For the last few years they have cost £5.00 at most supermarkets.

Yeah, Quality Street tins are cheaper now but half the size.
Generally the prices do compare favourably with equivalent products today.

Just a few doubts about the quality -dodgy looking screwdriver.
As you say, a whole gift box so cheap, a good screw is not something to be sniffed at undoubtedly...
Bet quite a few Cracking Christmases were had with a set of "Supascrews".
