I didn't watch it. Haven't watched it for years. I hate the term "white trash" though. Classifying anyone as trash is offensive. People are human beings whatever their class or status or poverty etc.

It is offensive on nearly every level. Sadly it's become a sort of chic badge of honour. Btitney Spears even had it on her t-shirt.

I remember Ray Langton left Deidre for a black girl, who incidentally starred in BBC1's Angels a few years earlier. It was about 1976.

Good I must have been a sad ten year old.

this is becomming on the verge of racism, dont watch the crap never will!have freinds that are both black and white,so what does that make me? an in be tweener, lol the government know jack **** they are tucked away in there big houses (not paying council tax) and creaming off what they can ....................ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL. I didn't even notice it - and I was watching the programme. Reading about it next day in the papers I just thought, "Well he would say that, wouldn't he?" For God's sake, what a fuss about nothing at all.

It's just another way for the PC brigade to stir up trouble. I like people of all creeds and colours, there are also people of the same & or different creeds and colours I don't like.... because you can't like everybody all of the time.
