I had no intention of joining this thread
but here goes-
Soil is depleted of minerals by intensive farming which involves -
artificial fertilisers,
herbicides to prevent moulds,
insecticides to increase yield.
Crops are less nutritous as a result, and the food contains those chemicals.
Animals are pumped regularly with
antibiotics to avoid vet's bills, and the residues remain in their flesh.
That food loses even more value as it is transported long distances and stored before sale.
If you think your body can cope with the toxic build up, go ahead and eat it.
Mine can't, and in fact the 'organic' food' isn't as nutritous enough for me, so I use supplements too.
