Worst Driving you've seen?
come on whats the worst piece of driving you've seen?
For me its probably my own
oh wait no...
it was some ****** on the m6 who was just weaving in and out cutting people up. i hate when they do that
its one thing to do it when the traffic is at standstill but when ur moving at 80mph and u got a nitwit pullin in and out its too much

Re: Worst Driving you've seen?
80 m.p.h.? Naughty! Maybe the guy was trying to drive in the left-hand lane, except when overtaking, as you're supposed to do.

Re: Worst Driving you've seen?
Some of the worst driving I've seen is on Audley Range in Blackburn, as drivers attempt to drive between or round the speed humps, rather than over them.

Re: Worst Driving you've seen?
I wouldn't know where to start....
I see sooo many incidents I'd be here all day.
How about Traffic plod sending a text whilst doing 70mph down teh M62?
or the guy who was moving across into my lane ( I was on my bike) untill I knocked on his window to point out there was a bike there already!

Re: Worst Driving you've seen?
Just depends on what you mean by 'bad driving' Mani ??
Have seen drivers pass me that broke the sound barrier, weavers who would be better on the snow slopes, u-turners whose skill at turning a corner would not be out of place on the Monte Carlo race track, drivers who move from the 3rd lane to a slip road within 100 yards in heavy traffic.
Yes, they are breaking the law, but have had to admire their skill sometimes.
So which one is it. ?

Re: Worst Driving you've seen?
My own...it frightened me to death (almost literally!).
That's why I packed it in and gave the car to Mrs H!

Re: Worst Driving you've seen?
I found drivers in England were rather good. Nothing like driving up the New Jersey turnpike. If you drive 80 mph on there, you better be in the breakdown lane. It is normal to see some driving 90 - 100 mph. Must admit, does allow me to get back up to New England quicker then the 65 mph allowed!

Re: Worst Driving you've seen?
my three worst examples of 'bad driving' are
1 , the woman who thought it was ok to breast feed a baby and drive
2 , the woman applying eye make-up while driving in the fast lane
3 , being overtaken by a guy in the HOV lane orally inflating a blow-up doll

Re: Worst Driving you've seen?
can't really comment , go on then I am sure its my own driving:
I passed my test in an automatic, they did not have the theory test in those days...
I now wonder if I took my test in a manual one
would I have to take the theory?
and if I failed it would they take away my automatic licence
equally so if I failed both ..... maybe someone knows:
( I am thinking of taking manual lessons )

Re: Worst Driving you've seen?
Oh I've seen some wonderful ones.
The guy who meandered about in front of us, indicated left several times at junctions but didn't turn off the road - then he indicated right and promptly turned left!
The guy who cut right in front of us on a roundabout to take the exit.
The woman who pulled out so far to go round a corner that she ended up on our side of the road.
The guy who pulled out of a side road, cut the corner too fine, took the side panel off a stationary coach further down the road and then tried to blame the coach driver for not moving when he saw him coming!
The cyclist who cut across a garage forecourt and nearly ended up under a van. (does that count as a driver?)
Or the woman who did a 495 point turn in the middle of Lime Road when we were trying to come home from a friend's house one night.
