A similar limited experience that has people claiming that the Police are Pigs, Filth, Scuffers, on the take?

Fair enough.

If you're cruising around areas, where the bulk of the occupants have personally informed you they are unemployed by choice, you can't be accused of gross generalisation.
You'd be being factual.

You don't know the half of it, Less. When you've been spat upon merely for doing your job, or been spewed upon by drunks picked up out of the gutter, then you can talk. My experiences of life in the raw plainly don't measure up to yours!!!

No one forced you to replace Sid Vicious in the Sex Pistols.
We all make choices, and live with the consequences.

No we don't ... politicians make choices and others live with the consequences. "The hand that signed the paper felled a city."

The lucky people of the world get a choice at the ballot box. Deciding who those politicans are.
Even the unlucky ones, not living in a democracy, have a choice whether to lie down and take it, or rise up and revolt. As we're seeing all over north Africa.

"these unlucky" people decide to revolt... I suppose they have been unlucky for centuries.. the same as every nation on earth ..and so when is the time to take to the streets in massive protest?..if thousands of bods turn up in some square in Cairo it seems they are the majority speaking for the people... if thousands turn up in London they are a classed as a minority of useless people ... but as hell is hot we all know when we have a tory government!

Do you not remember? Millions upon millions of people turned out on the streets on May 6th last year to let their voices be heard.

Nor should there be, just leave Mancie in his tin pot world of left wing Trots, a typical example is the Socialist Workers Party, we had one of their members who regularly wrote pages to the Observer, then somebody pointed out he hadn't worked for 25 years, the same guy still writes the odd letter, he's now changed his allegiance to the Socialist Party of Great Britain

Re: would you support protest?
Don't start me off, Jay. Regularly have arguments with 'em on Market Street on a Saturday afternoon. A few months ago, one of 'em tried to thrust a Support Cuba leaflet into my hand. Pointed out (in fairly strong terms ) that I don't support communist dictatorships and was accused of being a "racist"! This led to a fairly heated discussion until Mrs H, who'd been indulging in a spot of retail therapy, arrived on the scene. Put my arm around her and said: "Meet the wife - now call me a racist." He didn't have much to say after that.

Apparently Brucie has used his former Miss World latin wife, to illustrate a similar point.

The differences are, I'd not even mentioned anything to do with race to this SW plonker. It just seems to be a catch-all term of derision for anyone who doesn't agree with 'em...
...and Mrs H isn't a former Miss World and I don't have Brucie's dosh.

Would've said me and Brucie are ugly sods myself, both easily outshone by our respective missuses (and I'm not looking for brownie points, as she never visits Accyweb!).
