You couldn't make it up!

There are some things which happen in life that, when written down, sound so far fetched that you'd be accused of making them up.

This occurred to me yesterday when I heard about a well known local person (whose identity I will not reveal) who was bemoaning the company he'd been keeping the week before, and how it would look to the local community.

He'd been down to Manchester to take part in a quiz with a person whose misdemeanours were headline news in last weeks Accy Observer.

"How does it look?" he said "I was driven down to Manchester in an untaxed, uninsured car by a driver who was banned from driving, who bought the car out of winning The Weakest Link, and who now turns out to be an alleged paedophile dressed as a monkey."

As I say, its just too far fetched!

I know what you mean, I would hate to be associated with some-one that had been on The Weakest Link!
