Your great Bevers.
Reading Fireman's emotional heart-breaking thread on the passing of his friend and colleague, I ponder that sometimes we British don't give enough praise to these wonderful people whilst they are still with us.
I noticed, whilst working in Virginia, that co-workers had good words to say for colleagues who were doing well and would never hold back on saying so... we are always ready to condemn here aren't we ?
Well, I would just like to say a big thank you to our Secretary, Beverley, who is responsible for looking after us Sales Ladies.
Last Friday, she brought me a lovely bunch of flowers and another colleague slices of Melon and mints... she goes around us in rotation with these little 'apples to the teacher' out of her own pocket.
Nothing is too much trouble for her and when asked to do a task, the reply is always "No problem " or "Course I will" with a smile. Work is done with efficiency and no fuss.
Bevers ... you a star .. :e30:
