Your Holiday??
Ok Christmas is over, I am back at work after 8 lovely months off with Emily. I am freezing and I want to be somewhere warm!
Where are you going on your holidays?
why are you going there?
Have you been before?
Whats good about it?
If you have any links for cheap hols/flights/accomodation/resorts UK and abroad, post them in this thread to help others out.
We will probably be going to Tenerife and so far our flights seem to be cheapest with Monarch
we park the car at APH
Sun protection gear for the children. I get from Lion in The Sun
Our insurance is usually with Primary Insurance
I visit this site for any info I might need. And on my return I will go here !
I will have a look at other places to see if I can get things cheaper and if I do I'll let you know.

Re: Your Holiday??
Haven't decided for definite yet. Looking for a holiday for a week at beginning of march, possibly Costa del Sol or one of the Canaries. I usually visit tripadvisor.com to suss out the accommodation by reading reviews, we have our Malta Medallion Court review on there and it is not pretty.
Hoping to get away for a week in June, possibly Cyprus but nothing booked yet.
A long time until my main holiday, next January (but I have to square it with work), Australia...... visiting Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Re: Your Holiday??
Dead boring this. I shall be holidaying in Ossy, as usual, unless the Lottery comes up and I can afford to retire. It's not that I can't afford to go anywhere else, it's just that I don't have the time off work to fit somewhere else in!
Makes a great change from London, though ....

Re: Your Holiday??
Going to Tenerife in three weeks time, never been before either to Tenerife or abroad in February, but hoping weather will be good. Hoping to go somewhere else at beginning of September but at the moment not sure where but Croatia is looking to be favourite. Been to Turkey for the last couple of years but giving it a miss this year.

Re: Your Holiday??
Going to Malta in May all being well.
One of the reasons for going there is tht it isn't "too foreign" and there will be food the girls will eat. There is also a lovely looking beach and plenty of other things to visit.
We haven't been before but I have a friend who has been there a lot and speaks very highly of the island. There are things like ancient temples and historic sites which we are all interested in.
The weather looks pretty good too, nice and warm, sunny but not unbearably hot.

Re: Your Holiday??
Staying in this country or islands very close to this country. I'll probably have a week or two at skeggy, got a few jobs need doin on the new caravan. maybe spend a weekend at liverpool, and a week down at the isle of wight. And some time here, lying on the roof on top of three flats. I love it up there, its like lying on the most remote beach you could ever wish for, but sods law says one day I'll go up there and some ****** will already be there or pop up whilst I'm lying there.

Re: Your Holiday??
We sometimes go away with a big group of people in May but I can't do that this year plus they're thinking of going to Cuba and the flight is too long for the kids. So, I want to go to Croatia but I'm not getting much support. In fact, I'm getting down right apathy from Chris. To say he was not keen would be an understatement but I've only ever heard really good reports.
If I can't convince him (or if I don't just go out and book it without telling him) we'll probably end up going to somewhere like Malta which is so safe and predictable but at least we know we'll have a good time.

Gayle you could mention tol him that Croatia get literally loads of attractive young Italian ladies who choose to walk around wearing very little, That might swing it!
Seriously, if he wants to ask anything give me a call or drop me a PM or catch me on MSN. I highly recommend it.
