Just talked to the sister in law, she went to the event and said it was excellent, so well done to the organizers.

Re: 8th Dec Warner Street Dickensian Event

Just heard that one of the organisers, Evonne Harwood, who had a business on Warner Street, died suddenly last night.
RIP, & condolences to her loved ones.

It's terrible news, she touched so many people with the things she did for the community.
Evonne was one of our members and joined us in 2006. She hadn't posted for a couple of years but still used to a look around the forums.

EVONNE HARWOOD FUNERAL
We do now have details for Evonne's Funeral. This will be on Thursday 4th May at 10am at St James Church, on Church Street, Accrington. Prior to this the Funeral Cortage will proceed down Warner Street around 9.45am to pause outside Evonne & Guy's shop The Pink Magpie Vintage Emporium. It will proceed right, along Church Street, turning left to pass in front of the Market & Town Halls, before heading back up to St James Church via Blackburn Road. The Burial, at Accrington Crematorium on Burnley Road will follow at 11.30 am. after which Family & Friends are invited to The Abbey Pub on Bank Street Accrington to share memories & celebrate the life of a truly special person. Please can you share these details with her friends. Thank You.xxxxx
