Re: Anyone Fancy An AccyWeb February Meet?
Back home...just. Thanks to a speedy get away driver.
'Yes I'll call you honest I will, byeeeeeeeeeeeee'
Only the second time I've been out in the U.K since the introduction of the smoking ban, but it was worth it.
Great to catch up with some lovely people again, and those that couldn't be there you were missed. x
First meet I've managed to attend for fourteen months. No heated political deabate. No storming out. No dirty smutty talk...oh, hang on there was lots of that. Just plenty of mirth, and lots of laughs.
Really enjoyed catching up with you all. Cheers and thanks a lot.
Got to go now, l've got sandwiches to make.

Very enjoyable. Best behaviour all round, no histrionics, rather civilised!
Thanks to Katex and Harwoodred for sharing lift home, though a certain someone did monopolise the tasty driver !
G, we caught a few mournful looks after you left, you obviously have a fan there!

It's a cross I have to bear.
I've always been a magnet for the sad and disspossed.
Got to go, I have a light supper to prepare of lamb filled pitta bread.

Good to have a chat to you too Lindsay. Tasty driver ? Well, would have helped if he could have changed gear with some sort of technique, to speak nothing of negotiating corners decently, and mounting speed bumps no smoother than a bull mounting a cow, whilst answering text messages.

Re: Anyone Fancy An AccyWeb February Meet?
Well what a great night and a few surprises including Mandy and Carla turning up it was great to see them both
I hope you all enjoyed the crisps
Sorry but i don't think any photos where taken at this meet
As for the pub the nice open fire had everyone roasting
unfortunately they ran out of Carling larger
me and Anne and David1 had a great time it was good to see you all 1 or 2 did not make it which was a shame but this happens at every meet
while there i got a phone call off Tealeaf hoping every one was enjoying them selves and said he will be up at Easter so maybe a meet round that time
Lynx being a bully as usual "ouch"
Thanks to all that came see you again soon

Re: Anyone Fancy An AccyWeb February Meet?
hey it was Mick that brought the crisps, I take no responsibility; though I did think that spitting the Chilli /Choc ones into an empty bag when you realised how vile they were is the best course of action!

The crisp tasting was fun.
We've done Entwisi's Coke taste test at a previous meet, and now the new flavours of crisps.
Any suggestions for the next testing session?
