I'm thinking Carl Yates, brother of Gaz who used to be a regular in the Welly, or am I confusing him with someone else. Not been back long, lol

Ah, the memories coming back. I'm thinking of Gaz, who is Simon's brother, lol.
But is it Carl Yates? He was a big lad as I remember him?

Re: Anything good on in Clayton, on Saturday night?
Did Big Carl used to be a DJ and also do a bit of debt collecting? I dont really know Clayton that well, but there used to be a very big lad called Carl who used to go in the Lamb.

Re: Anything good on in Clayton, on Saturday night?
yeah he used to go in the Lamb, he then took over the Old England, then the Forts, everyone in Clayton knows or knows of Big Carl, i dont know about the debt collecting thing though, Accyman knows Gaz very well, he might be able to answer that one

Re: Anything good on in Clayton, on Saturday night?
Never really been an avid Clayton Drinker over the years but popped into the Albion a few times, would probably be 7/8 years ago now, they used to have a few "original" type bands on then, one i recall was an Australian Chap who did'nt wear shoes and played a homemade guitar, made out of a plank of wood!
Best Regards - Taggy
