Re: Best Pub
Probably the Miners, Blackburn Rd, or the Stag at Church.

Re: Best Pub
Been to the Oaklea today before and after the match. Much better than it used to be. I dont go to the Crown (to busy), but I sometimes go to the Grey Horse, it was closed after todays game anyone know why?

Re: Best Pub
The Swan, Bridge, or Baileys. But for a quite drink The Albion at Clayton, or The Greyhound which has great beer for £1.29 per pint. Talking of good beer, what about the Kings, Abbey or maybe the refurbished Cannine club. But for shear enjoyment, THE VOODOO has my best pub vote at the moment. Hic!!

Re: Best Pub
Dont drink much these days but the George pub on Blackburn Road used to be good. Do excellent meals too.
The broadways good for a quick drink when in town and my best mate highly recommends the Hope and Anchor.

Re: Best Pub
Only really go to the pub on match days.. gotta say Crown is a good pub.. Landlord top bloke and scored a cracking goal for stanley fans v shrews fans on sat morning
George on blackburn rd used to be good... its a bit of a dive now.. rippped smelley seats.. quite scruffy... not as nice as it used to be.
King street is well worth a visit.. sometimes end up in there after the game on a sat night.. big room at back usualy has a turn on.. no no calm down tracy i didnt mean turn on.. i meant a turn.....on ....

Re: Best Pub
Id say that King Street is worth a visit - they serve excellent draft beers and the bar staff are friendly.
Also the Abbey on Bank Street has improved tremendously since the new landlord and landlady took over.
We now go in every Sunday after football and they put food on for us which is excellent.
They is always something going on during the week and generally speaking it's a very friendly pub.
