I went along and had a good chat with the people manning the stall.......I didn't participate in the Black Pudding throwing contest though. I liked some of their ideas...especially the one that showed an orchestra in the Market hall....and the one that made use of the Arcade......a much under valued retail space, that I'm sure could be better used.

Don't worry Kate, him and Tealeaf must have rubbed off against each other at school.

I looked for the display, but couldn't see it.

Was that you, where people could throw a ball into a pumpkin, and win a t-shirt?

If it was you need to sack your visual display co-ordinator.

Those balls were supposed to be black puddings! The actual stall with ideas was on the outside market near the Blackburn bus stop.

We just need to be sure that whatever we get doesn't end up like this.

That sort of thing didn't go on where we went, we didn't go to QUEGS. We went to a proper school at the other side of Corporation Park.

Re: Calling people of Accrington!

Excellent Mick.

Some of those ideas they'd drawn up were every imaginative and yet not pie in the sky. If any of them do get off the ground it should give the rest of Accy something to live up to. Let's hope this is going to lead to some positive steps forward and not another damp squib. I hope HBC will concentrate on keeping it clean and vandal free too then.

Ah, it's all making sense. I thought you were at Accy Grammar school, not that hot bed of repression, were you were taught my unmarried men in frocks, St. Mary's.

There were no Scottish bachelors teaching at our school.
