Charity Night King St MS Society
Hi all, I am in the middle of organising a charity night to raise funds for the MS Society. We have booked King St for the 23rd November. I know that it is a while off yet but a lot has to be done.
The night will consist of two bands, Section 22 - Rock, and Revisit - Punk, along with a comedian. The bands have agreed to perform, but we are seeking a well known comedian. We also need some good donations of prizes for raffles etc. In fact we will be trying to get hold of some decent stuff from well known bands and may be able to auction these off on the night. If anyone is able to suggest a good comedian who may be willing to support the charity gig. Or knows where to look for support for prizes etc I would be very grateful. We are hoping to raise about £5000 on the night so that we can open a resourse centre for the Blackburn, Accrington and Burnley areas. We are hoping to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis and support those people affected by this awful disease. Thanks in advance, Mags x |
