its a large lake with boats on it, if your coming in from the lytham end do a left at the white church traffic lights its about 1 min away- coming the other way on the coast road its about 1 mile on from the pier, theres a park with swings n an adventure playarea a little compound with ducks n a grass play area also a cafe overlooking the lake. like i said before my kids loved it there.

used to be one in st annes cant remember about fairhaven lake-if you go ashton gardens is nice blackpool side of st annes centre traffic lights, also just past ashton gardens is the teddybear museum. theres a mini golf on the front at st annes but thats not for toddlers more of a pitch and putt.also theres trampolines for toddlers on the front mine loved them.

Re: Family days out!

Had a good day out on Tuesday I took mine for a walk through Springwood near Whalley. Then onto Edisford Bridge had fun catching little fish that tried to jump out of their container which had to be seen to be believed, I was in stitches laughing!! Then took them climbing up Pendle hill, it was fun and they came home tired out!!

We parked up at Well Springs to watch some para gliders, hoping that at least one of them would land on the back of a sheep or in the middle of the road didn't happen though!
