shame, was a good boozer, back in the day, problem today is its isolated, not part of a circuit anymore.

It was what we all knew as the old Local cashy, I used to go in through the back door, as it was easy to pop out of my home down the back and straight in, saved 5 minutes drinking time each way

Its situated on Union Road Ossy Doug, opposite the end of Haworth St. was one of my locals in the 70s as a lived on Monarch St and our back doors were close was the watering hole for St Mary's Choir after 11 o'clock mass every Sunday they also had quite good darts teams and amateur football teams too, was a very busy little pub in those days
