Hi Pete...the afternoon went very well indeed although under cloudy skies and the constant 'threat' of rain...it managed to keep dry for us...we had a good turn out with some exceptionally good bowling in our fun competition...we play crown green bowls and visitors are always welcome...we do ask for a small donation of £1 for green fees which is quite normal at all clubs in this area apart from those on local authoirty greens where you have to hold a council registration card...the best time to come along to our green is at 12.45pm almost every day if it is not raining cats and dogs...have a look at our website... | CommuniGate | Welcome to Grange Bowling Club Website
Any time you want to come along just give me a PM and I will make arrangements to welcome you at the club.

Thankyou very much I shall indeed keep you to this! However it may be some time before I can take part due to this busted leg I have........pretty sure it might upset a few people if I tried to enter the green with my crutches!!!
The £1 green fee is extremely reasonable as well, just one more question if I may, when I do come down is there a need for me to buy my own set of woods or does the club hire them out to newbies?
Many thanks, and I look forward to when Im back on 2 legs and can get down to you.
Pete
