Gayle wasn't asking how to walk on them, just how does she manage to walk on them (which is open to an answer) .. technical like Sorry, just a reference to another thread today that was funny

Re: Habeas Corpus .. starts tonight !!
A triumph!
What a magnificant pair!
We, the audience, were mesmerised.
How she walked in them we know not how.
Seriously. A most enjoyable production. Witty script from Alan Bennett, and some very capable comic acting.
I've seen many professional plays over the years, and many of the cast of the Oswaldtwistle Players could give full time thespians a run for their money.
A very enjoyable evening, and I look forward to your next production.

Loved every minute of it! Laughed throughout, with the reference to the telegraph being my particular like.

Re: Habeas Corpus .. starts tonight !!
Thank you to all who came and for Kate for keeping promoting it with this thread.
Also, thanks to Kate for her sterling work on the raffle.
I have to be honest it was a weird one for the cast - I don't think we particularly enjoyed rehearsals for it as we were worried about how our audience would respond to it. We weren't even 100% sure it was funny! The minute the first laugh arrived on Wednesday night we relaxed and started to love it.
The minute it ended the wig and the boots came off. Phew, what a relief that was.

A pound a strip from the lovely Kate, what more could anyone want?
Though sadly none of my tickets won the raffle.
I really enjoyed the play, and speaking to other people who saw it last night, they did too.
I'm sure most people don't realise how much time and effort must go into putting on productions like this, but they give so much enjoyment, so thank you to all concerned.
