There are raffles,
I for one won't be able to attend because of work, would you be able to bring some of the raffle tickets to the meet on Saturday? I'm sure some of us will buy some.

Don't forget the Market Hall is open on a Wednesday so don't be too disappointed if due to the competition from them your little gathering isn't well attended.

Good luck with it.

Will bring the raffle tickets to the meet and post the winning numbers on here either Wednesday night or Thursday morning. I'm sure we'll get enough people here to make all the effort worthwhile and raise loads of dosh for our brave troops We have also been collecting donations for the boxes from the residents

Re: Help the Heroes - Christmas Appeal

Glad it went well, couldn't attend due to work committments. Brilliant course (sp), need as much money as possible. As i write this we are just waiting for my nephew to return to England, he was shot in the back of the neck yesterday in Afgan and is going straight to Sally Oakes. Worst thing is we don't have any details until the visiting officer visists today. So it is an appeal close to the heart.
