Re: Lancashire Food Festival
Me and Sparks went to this a couple of years ago, it was really good. I'll miss the Hairy Bikers as I will be in bed (after the night shift), but may pop along on Sunday.

Re: Lancashire Food Festival
One thing I can't understand about this is why are people willing to pay to go into a shop/market?
It's not like its an exhibition or anything - its a market, would you pay to get into Accy market?
I know the organisers have to make money but they make this out of the stall holders who in turn make it out of the customer, so why pay to go in?
I'll put my £1 towards a pint of Guinness in the Regency if the Mrs wants to go in while were down town

Re: Lancashire Food Festival
I don't suppose that the Hairy Bikers appeared for free, and the town hall cleaners would need overtime pay to clear up afterwards.
I wont be bothering to go either.

But surely the stall holders pay for the stalls and the money comes from there, can't relate "celebs" to Accy market but they have cleaners in there and we don't pay just to get in the place do we

Because it's only a £1 and it's something different. The food that's there is not just regular Accy Market type stuff so it's a chance to taste new things for free.
