Re: meals out
I've been to Quattros twice in the last week.
They do a two course meal for £10.50 - had it yesterday -gorgeous
The piece of salmon was so big that I couldn't manage all of it, they put it in a takeaway box - so i have had salmon salad for tea today

It's my wedding anniversary today so I'm looking for somewhere nice to go for a meal tonight. Any suggestions?

Re: meals out
yea i'll also go agree with jade garden and calfs head at worston.both real quality..
italian - mangiamos (sp?) in darwen is great on tuesday and weds when its half prce pizza or pasta. but any day though its really nice food.
for pub grup,i never thought i'd say this - but the brit up top of new lane has been bloody rubbish for years but we were told new management and we were so glad we tried it again .Not a loads of choice to be honest but service and food was very much improved and at £7 for a slow roast lamb shank great value.it really has shaped up .

Re: meals out
Auberge at Rishton is really nice and value for money if you go for the early bird Monday to Thursday. My mates took me last night and got to say grub is top notch

went to La Veranda at station steps near hassy last nite ... was very good .... they do a set menu ... £13.95 for any starter, main course either pasta or pizza and any dessert or coffee ... and do a kids meal for £5.95 as well ...
for those of a certain age ... la veranda is the Tankards ...
