Mushroom hunt

Foxhill Bank Mushroom Hunt and Breakfast, Saturday August 23rd

There will be an Oswaldtwistle Mushroom Hunt and Breakfast at 8.30 on Saturday August 23rd
Foxhill Bank Nature Reserve and Gobbiner’s Cafe - Oswaldtwistle
Experience a guided early morning funghi hunt amidst the beautiful setting of Foxhill Bank Nature reserve. Hidden away in a shallow valley in the heart of Oswaldtwistle, the area boasts an abundance of woodland vegetation and waterlife. The area is home to a fantastic array of wildlife including the great spotted woodpecker. Led by your friendly guide, this circular expedition ends with a hearty full-English breakfast (with plenty of mushrooms) at nearby Gobbiner’s Café. Book early – these events always sell out. Meeting at the Mill Hill entrance to Foxhill Bank Nature Reserve.
Tickets: £12

PM me to book a place.

Re: Mushroom hunt

BTW - if you're wondering at the price - it includes the expert teacher's fee and the breakfast. I've tried to keep costs down but this isn't subsidised or funded.

If you take the tour you will be able to ask the expert which ones are the garlic ones so you will know they are safe to pick.
