did eny one else go up the pop on friday night to the billy fury tribute,
a great night was had by all, never seen as many in the pop club .

the next is a buddy holly tribute on the 18th april.

yup great night had by all as usual, my mates & i go most rock/ roll nights......although getting a little too packed .........we need seats.......

Never actually been in there but one of my mates works behind the bar there so i really should pop by sometime.

There always Friday Cashy. There is a Rock 'n Roll on tonight at the Town Hall in aid of the N.S.P.C.C. A few artists I think including Tommy Franks who is supposed to be very good.

I remember Tommy playing with his brother Franny in the Sundowners in the sixties, one of many good local groups

well, just an update ..re pop club: heard they had a meeting on wednesday night
the latest is that they may be closing down, you can't run a club on just the r/roll nights or the friday saturday night entertainment...........sounds like most of the other places that are shutting down due to lack of clients during the week .
