Yes we've been and I think it's brilliant too. It amazes me that all that is there because you could easily fail to even notice its existence from going along the road.

I'm making my debut at the Animal Park the start of next month. Am well looking forward to it, I've never heard anything other than good things about it.

Re: South Lakes Wild Animal Park.......

I`d also recommend going for the christmas celebrations up there, during december santa and his reindeers pay a visit and they get the kids dressed up to perform a nativity in a barn with a donkey and sing some carols...........then they meet the man himself and can even write him a letter and they get a reply...all for the entrance fee( they don`t put it up at xmas either) some of the animals are in hiding because of the weather if its cold but if you have little `uns its well worth going. Oh and you get free mulled wine/tea/coffee and a mince pie thrown in.......

I've been up there and had a brilliant time. I agree with those who say you wouldn't notice it if you didn't know it was there! But once you find it... well it's something you will treasure! It's fantastic.
