"speak-easy" Night.........23rd December
May I Have Your Votes On A Different Type Of Event For Accyweb Xmas Meet.
1.......A "SPEAKEASY NIGHT"
2....... A PANTOMIME ......STAGGERS & HIS MERRY MEN. VOTING WILL CLOSE SATURDAY 10TH DECEMBER.
the speak easy night consists of.......ladies in evening wear (be it trousers or dresses) plus a feather boa.
men to wear suits & bow tie (or a tie) or very smart IE: trousers (no jeans ...please).
STAGGERS & HIS MERRY MEN PANTO...... consists of
MEN........tunic type tops........green tights.
ladies......... in medieval type dresses
EASY STREET THE DUO WILL BE SINGING THAT NIGHT IN AT THE STAG SO SHOULD BE A GREAT EVENING.

Suprisingly I'm not that keen on dragging up. I'll be there, but am not voting as I will abide by the majority. Either that or I'll just wear what I fancy, and laugh at you from the safety of the Tap room.

1920’s. I’ll have a word with Accywebs own fashion consultant. I always thought of the 1920’s as the Depression era, dodgy brown suits and kipper ties or woollen suits and flat caps. It’s also the period of abstention and taking the oath, not such a good theme for a night in the stag…….lol.
