That mr Bagpuss I can understand and I am behind you all the way, its just when nutters try and undermind the great day for there own political agenda I tend to get on my soapbox, if you look at the website you will see it is useing St Georges day as a soap screen for the Bnp.

Re: St Georges Day

The whole purpose of the original post was not to try to convince anyone. It was posted regarding links and St George's Day information. We have a list of links relating to St George's day events, and thought you might all find them useful that is all. We did not post the message to offend.

Yes the site has strong views and so does the forum, but people have a right to express these views and we have the platform for them.

How on earth do you work that out? We have no connection with the BNP and never will. We do not support the Union and the BNP is a Unionist party. In fact with have no British links at all on any part of the website.

We are simply trying to promote St George's Day as a holiday for the English. What is wrong with that? Our site isn't racist, it simply contains facts. The forum is an open forum because we believe in freedom of speech.

How can we be using St George's day for our own political agenda when in fact we are not a political party. We have no outside membership, and no financial gain from the website. We are a group of patriots who love our country, and the site was formed because we are sick of being ignored by our disgrace of a government.

So please don't title us as Nazis, or the BNP because we are neither. We are simply proud Englishmen and woman who love England.

Thank you Bagpuss. That's because the site isn't meant to offend. People who are offended are offended because they don't want to know, or choose to ignore the truth.

OK- I have to step in here. This isn't the place for political arguments. Please lets keep this topic to St. Georges day celebrations, or I'll have to close the thread.

On topic - we've got a St. Georges day celebration over here in one of the english pubs, so if anyone wants to visit Russia to celebrate our good old St. George then drop me a line

Re: St Georges Day

That's the point Roy even in Russia you are allowed to celebrate St. Georges Day but in England you have the problem of upsetting non English people.
