The Myth of Escape

The Myth of Escape
Wednesday, 21st September 2011, 7.30pm
Tickets £8 (concessions £6)
Civic Arts Centre, 155 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle BB5 3HZ

Billy finds himself in a cell next to Alex.
Neither Billy nor Alex are quite sure what they have done wrong.
Perhaps nothing. It doesn't seem to matter.
Someone wanted them imprisoned and so they have been.

Absurdist political drama about isolation, oppression and fighting to hold on to everything you believe in.

Tickets available by visiting the Centre, going online to www.ticketsource.co.uk/civicartscentre.

Re: The Myth of Escape

This is the next show on at the Civic.

Professional touring company bringing an interesting, thought provoking play to the Centre.

Tickets for something like this would be £15 to £20 in Manchester plus travelling costs, we're delivering it to you right on your doorstep.

Re: The Myth of Escape

Just a reminder that this show is on tonight.

It's had great reviews. It's challenging, interesting, thought-provoking and funny - plus, it's an absolute bargain for £8 (concessions £6).

I know that people don't want to go to stuff if they don't 'get it' sometimes, but this is well worth a go.

One of the aims of the Civic Arts Centre is to provide culture that people would have to travel to big cities for. This is what this is and we need the support of the community now.
