I would love the Billy Joel but I could do without the Barry Manilow.

Re: The Piano Men Are Coming To Ossy Civic Theatre..!!

Hi Guys, I thought I would include some information about the main guys in the show, it promises to be a great night, hope to see you there!!

Artistes Biographies

Vaughan Kennedy (Barry Manilow)
Vaughan Kennedy is blessed with the rare gift of being a naturally talented pianist as well as an accomplished popular singer.

With a wide repertoire from the classics to contemporary music, his concert and cabaret performances have taken him to venues throughout the U.K and Europe and have won the acclaim of audiences everywhere.

Born in Blackpool and educated at Rossall School, it has always been Vaughan’s ambition to perform widely in theatre. The realisation of this dream came true when; already an established act he performed in his very own ‘an audience with...’ concert in June 2002 at Lytham St Anne’s, with the help of five, very talented west end musicians and a 30 piece choir.

Since then Vaughan’s career has gone from strength to strength, he has the accolade of being the only artiste to spend a summer season performing the music of Barry Manilow on Blackpool’s famous North Pier in the show, ‘Viva Las Vegas’.

Vaughan enjoys sharing his great love of music, he actively supports a number of Charities including; the NSPCC, The Salvation Army, Macmillan Windmill Cancer Appeal among many others, with his most recent Charity performance at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre with a host of celebrities.

Andy Mudd (Billy Joel)
Andy Mudd is quite simply one of the finest musicians in the UK. His competence as a pianist is second to none and as such, is always in demand by major recording artistes. Not only is he an accomplished musician, Andy is also very strong vocally.

Andy is a born entertainer and always enjoys a fabulous rapport with his audience wherever he performs with his light sense of humour and evident musical ability.

More recently Andy has firmly established himself as Musical Director to the internationally famous Joe Longthorne performing at major venues throughout the UK and abroad.

His portrayal of the music of Billy Joel is unrivalled and one that will captivate any audience.

This sounds absolutely ghastly. I think I would rather spend the evening down an Ossy sewer.
