The Royal Exchange: The Accrington Pals

Has anyone been to see The Accrington Pals at The Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester?

information courtesy of Royal Exchange website:
THE ACCRINGTON PALS 17 January 13 - 16 February 13

A POWERFUL AND POIGNANT DRAMA BASED ON A REAL-LIFE STORY
On the eve of the First World War the young men of Accrington hear Kitchener’s call for a New Army and become the smallest town in England to raise a Pals Volunteer Brigade.

When they arrive in France, the brutal reality of the trenches is beyond anything they were prepared for.

And back home amongst the women they leave behind – their mothers, wives, daughters, lovers – nothing can ever be the same again.

Priced from £10 upwards.

I met the producer of that play about a month ago, he arranged to meet me in Accy Library, he then brought the full cast a week later, we ha a 3 hour chat about the Accrington Pals.
I have never seen the play. but I have read the original script by Peter Wheelan. I was asked to read the male part from the script into a tape recorder, I returned the tape recorder and the script, after 3 pages, my comments were Accrington men didn't talk to women like that in those days, all love dovey, bullshine, it would be
thee is mi tay ready, un if not why not.
An wen thas weshed them pots up, al ev anuthr mug o tay.
