Would anyone like to sponsor me ?

I am taking part in the 'great scottish run' next sunday - see this link here...http://www.runglasgow.org/senior/index.html.

It is 13 miles round glasgow and the race itself is in its 25th year and there will be more than 20,000 runners taking part.
I am running for 2 charitys - Macmillan Cancer Research & Glasgow Yorkhill Royal Childrens Hospital.
I am taking it seriously as I have been training for the past 4 months for it - although I will not be sprinting the 13 miles like some of the professional runners there I am looking for a time of 2hrs 30(ish) mins - 3hrs at the latest as the other guys I am running with havent been training as much as me or as fit and young !!! - but at the end of the day its the taking part that counts and the money for charity.
Now I have thought for a long time of asking on here and whether or not its the done thing but with a week to go I figured why not..but if its wrong to do so then I will not mind if mick, roy or another admin finds it in bad taste and bins this post.
now I know anyone can post something like this and I know many folk will wonder how can I prove that I am - well I can tell you that if you got to the link at the top and look at 'whos entered' link I am on that list under 'J' for 'Jones' which is my surname ( I dont really want to give my first name out) - you will find a Jones from Accrington - the only Accrington entry - thats me ! and if anyone is still unsure then I have my race number and info from the race which I can post if needed,I also recieve an official start/finish time as well as my medal when I complete the race which I will be happy to show off ! if anyone is still unsure about handing over any monies - I am being 100% genuine here and if anyhas any doubts then please pm with any questions and I will be happy to answer them.
I have also been given a press release from one of the charities to send off to my local press (observer) but I am kinda shy about letting the whole of accrington know what I am doing..but I may be persuaded as it is for a good cause...
Now I figured that should anyone wish to sponsor me the best way would be for an admin to be the collector of all monies when the race is done and I have proved I have completed it. - I would be happy to come along to an accy night out to prove my doing of it in person - but if anyone else has a better idea of the collection side of then I am open to ideas..

and please dont feel that you have to sponsor me - if you do - you do , if you dont then you dont - not a problem.
