The Best Group of The Seventies in my opinion has got to be ABBA, my favourite song is Dancing Queen.

Re: 70's - better than the bum 80's board
From the 70's (and bear in mind I was rather young) My fave things were - Bay City Rollers, The Glitterband, The Osmonds.
Remember a song by Our Kid - You Just might see me cry, and I loved it, Remember Abba winning Eurovision with Waterloo
Remember watching the 2 Ronnies with the worm that turned and the phantom raspberry blower. It was a treat to be able to stay up and watch top of the pops as my bed time was 7pm during the week [smiley=sleep.gif]

Re: 70's - better than the bum 80's board
There were just so many great songs from the 70's.....the sheer numbers overwhelm you...so if one sold two or three million it just did'nt register..
Of course, by the 80's with all the drivel that was coming out then, a record was lucky if it sold a few hundred....still, I suppose some people are always daft enough to go out and waste their money on useless pap......
