Re: A bit of culture
42% on the first one. That painting of Hitlers with the tram in the foreground is lovely, I don't think I've seen that before
75% on the second one

Loved the Churchill one.
Thought young Adolf must try harder though, perhaps a diferent career.

Isn't that weird, Churchills I guessed both correctly because they actually looked amateur to me but Hitlers looked lovely ....... and your supposed to have a degree in it

Adolf's naive style appealed to your untrained eye.
Winnie had a much better understanding of colour, and was undoubtedly influenced by the Fauvist movement.
See. Five years of art education and I can talk such convincing bollox.

Re: A bit of culture
By the way, as well as being turned down by the art school in Vienna, he was also unsuccessful when he tried to get into Liverpool art school, my old alma mater.
He should have learned to talk more bollox in his interview, it worked for me.

No, I like his paintings. He did employ a naive style, but he could classically draw as well, and you can see that understanding in his work.

Ahh that's ok then I have a living room full of them He's by far my favourite painter. If his style of painting is naive to it may well emplain why I like Hitlers paintings more then.
