Just tell people you come from LA. That always baffles them. Whan they say where - just say "Lower Accrington" ....... Where's that they say......USA you reply..."Uther Side of Accrington".....

I think it's great everybody or most people have heard of Accy even if they do say " Accrington Stanley who are they" as if they are the first person to say it. We aren't a big city or anything and for people to have heard of our town is fantastic noones ever heard of Clayton-Le-Moors or Great Harwood have they?
