Re: Alcohol/Canal
What can I say we have numerous sightings with pictures as well and even video available(thanks to restless). I have to say the heavy downpours last night has accelerated its progress. It has covered an amazing distance overnight. It has remained static all day despite barge movements. Watch this space for the next exciting installment

Re: Alcohol/Canal
Animals swimming past in formation may dislodge it(extinguisher), the lead animals bow wave will be amplified by subsequent animals, the animals in question were seen heading in that direction. They could arrive anytime now.

How about a fire extinguisher hunting season? If you shoot it,Eric, davemac, Restless and walkinman will be able to relax. This is getting them overexcited.

Re: Alcohol/Canal
Are you telling me, that I am 'fattening' them up, just so you can come and shoot them-- when I feed them sometimes on the way to/fro work?

An out of control fire extinguisher wandering at will up and down the canal! Those ducklings could be having nightmares at this very moment.
Of course I take it seriously.

Re: Alcohol/Canal
I think they have nightmares over the swans that dominate them. I was feeding ducks once and a swan came along and chased them away. Lifting its wings(or whatever) and making a hissing like noise. It did this every time they came near.

Re: Alcohol/Canal
So, apart from the pressing problem of a wandering fire extinguisher creating fear and panic in the community, we now have duck bullying too. This is getting extremely worrying.
