Music .. yes, brilliant !! .. Beatles, Billy Fury, Stones, Queen and Elton John are a must to finish with linked with bands from the Welsh, Scottish, Irish, English Army Units. (Notice there was a bagpipe band at Beijing today ... Brill .. Chinese love 'em apparently)
That would be a brilliant finale in 2012 - Blowing the Houses of Parliament up.Well thought out

Oh yes, could be .. what's a white spot between friends Can P.M. me with rules if you wish. Tried to explain to Mez & Co. when we were in Blackpool, they looked at me as if I were making it up.

What would you build to replace the Houses of Parliament Benipete ?.. have always got to have an alternative plan when criticism abounds.

However, to get back on thread:-

Talking Olympic GOLD!!!

First there was the Cycling...and NOW WE HAVE WON A GOLD IN SWIMMING!!

Yes, Rebbeca Adlington has won gold in the 400m freestyle and to even sweeten the pot, fellow GB swimmer Jo Jackson wins the Bronze!!

YAY!!!!

Is this a sign of good things to come? I like to think so

Re: Olympic GOLD!!!

Well i was considering putting this in the sport section, but i figured much more people use the general chat thread rather than the sport. And i dunno, maybe it is considered a sport. But saying that, i see it more as an global event, so maybe it should get more of a mention.

I thank you
