Re: cheer Tyler up??
Hi Tyler
Try not to worry about your operation too much, all the doctors and nurses on the ward are really nice and will take good care of you and your Mum!
My son was in hospital just before Christmas last year for an operation on his arm, he was a bit worried too at first (and he's 13!)
Everything turned out fine and his arm is better now. He enjoyed his time off school and me fussing over him, he got lots of treats too.
I'm sure you'll be fine too!
Love Nikki

Re: cheer Tyler up??
Hi Tyler,
You will be just fine ! My daughter had a long operation on both her legs 2 years ago when she was just 10 and she had both her legs in plaster casts throughout the summer holidays for 6 weeks !
She was very well looked after in hospital and is glad now that she had the operation done.
Just make sure you get a nice pressie for being brave !
I'll get my daughter to come on to send you a message too !
Best wishes !

Re: cheer Tyler up??
Hi Tyler
My little boy (well he's a big boy of 16 now) had both his eyes done when he was about your age.
They didn't hurt, and he was home the same day, and he was fussed over such a lot.
The nurses on the childrens ward are really nice as well, and they play with you.
There's also a shop downstairs where you mum could get you a surprise

Hello Tyler, pleased to meet you.
My daughter, who is a nurse, has worked on the Opthalmic ward (fancy adult word for eye ward .. ) in hospital, told her all about you and she says .. "Piece of cake ... No worries"
In the meantime, sent you this. I am rubbish at games bet you could beat me hands down on these, but hope you enjoy :-

Hi Tyler
Try not to worry about your operation. It will soon be over and you and your mum will be welll looked after by the doctors and nurses in the hospital. You'll be back at home before you know it.
