Re: claim to fame?

My sort of claim to fame at uni is that I actually got rejected from the uni, they saw my talent on the summer course and changed their minds, so a few of the teachers who know me refer to me to others as 'the rising star' and tell them about my story haha, which I find a bit embarrassing.

A lot of the metal bands in blackburn used to know me when I was 14 because I played a mean metal bass guitar haha, very speedy and talented girl bassist haha, those where the days.

I got full marks in my art exam at college too which I guess doesn't happen too often. A lot of people hated me for that though so it wasn't necessarily good fame.

Re: claim to fame?

Ive met David Cameron twice and have a picture to prove it

Once had the extreme privelidge of managing one of the corporate boxes at Rovers for a season for the comopany I worked for back then. Got to meet most of the players, Graeme Souness, Mark Hughes and best of all, Simon Garner (founder of the famous Blackburn Rovers Flying Club!).

Was stood once in Mitton Fold and Alan Shearer came in and ordered a pint (it was some sort of testamonial game 3 years back and they were all staying there) - his body guard was 10 whole men!

I once met the whole of Iron Maiden except for Bruce Dickinson who had to literally FLY off......and they were all really nice blokes.I wasn`t ever the biggest Maiden fan but my mate was a (and still is) big steve Harris fan and i think he`s met him a couple of times since.
