Just to let everyone know, although nobody has any reason to care, I bought a rabbit for £2 from the butchers the other day and forgot to say. Don't know if thats a reasonable price or not but I'm going to cook it for my mum at the weekend

I hope you froze it - it's several days to 'weekend' and although rabbit is classed as game, it shouldn't be left long enough to get 'high'

It was already frozen, the butcher seemed to be saving it for himself! I am lucky to have a butcher right at the corner of the street, means I can get fresh meat for my tea every day which is nice. Not too keen on buying it at the supermarket, I like to pick my piece.

Just to let everyone know, i made my mum the rabbit yesterday and it was gorgeous but she didnt even eat hers! I think evidence of how yummy it was though is the fact that my two year old brother ate all his and then nagged for more victory!
