Typical merkins though that take you through France and then across teh channel instead of straight into Preston.
Once they get outside their borders they get all disoriented (Sorry LYY and Billcat!!!! ) |

I would have hardly any driving. I could swim down the St. Lawrence, and then out across the Atlantic, maybe taking a breather in Iceland. Climb out for a bit in Liverpool, jump in the cut and swim all the way to Clayton. Awesome!
