disapearing birthday balloon

Yes that's what I'm seeing Tinks.
Granny - I've had a thought. Is it an image you are uploading to Accyweb? If you delete the post with the uploaded attachment, or don't go further than a preview then it isn't actually uploaded. You may see it because it will be in your cache, but when you clear your cache it will disappear. Nobody else will have seen it at all.

Willow, I'm not sure of hyperlink things but on the main todays post page if you hover your mouse over this thread there's a very long URL, maybe you can understand if Grannys made a slight mistake. I've tried and can't see anything obvious
