Eventually He Gets Over It
I don't know what reminded me, but a very good friend once recounted her wedding day, ceremony no problem reception no problem.
Evening do, her maternal Great Grandmother takes her to one side to give some advice. Well my dear says gran what you will have to put up with is the disgusting side of married life, he will want to do things to you that you're imagination can't comprehend but don't worry, as he gets older these urges will decrease. Being polite and not wishing to upset gran my friend pretended to be shocked. Ooh nan when can i expect him to stop? GGM replied, if you're lucky when he's. About 120 years old!
