This was Lilly's answer to my question on Facebook, before moving on to the second page, freaked me out ... thought you youngsters may have contortionist talents.

It was a fabulous word that was much used when we were kids in the 1980s....there is even a group set up on here to celebrate the belm and bring it back haha. I've seen young people do it recently and it's often accompanied with a sort of grunt - very hard to describe a sound on here.
