Fishing

Has anyone been fishing this morning and been so desparate they caught nothing first time so they went back and tried to use bigger worms ?

Does it work ?

No, if the fish don't bite the smaller worms it's probably because they are not interested and a larger worm isn't going to make much difference. They are probably in another part of the river nibbling on some tasty pondweed.

So it's all about improving technique or go and fish in different waters then ?

Kids playing near by.
Pollution.
Objects on the surface.
Ducks, Geese, Swans.
Boats, Barges, Water skiers or swimmers
Helicopters, low flying Aircraft.
Amateur Fisher Man
Mel
Animals Drinking Near By

It would appear thatbeing a complete expert of holding your rod in your hand doesn't have much bearing, otherwise the fisherman would have had enough expertise to catch something first time without trying again

Or -others polluted it before you got there- it can take several days for pollution to clear -so be patient
